Curious about the Undergraduate of the Year Awards? Find quick answers to the most common questions from applicants, parents, and employers.

Who can enter the awards?

Anyone in third level education, North or South of Ireland.

How do I apply?

Just hit 'Apply Now' on your chosen category, fill out the form, and complete any online tests. It’s that easy!

What are the key dates?

Entries are open, with the application deadline on the 2nd February 2026. Winners will be revealed at our Awards Ceremony in Dublin on 01st April 2026.

What do winners get?

Each award comes with a unique prize - including graduate roles, mentorship opportunities, summer internships and more!

How many awards can I apply to?

You can only apply for ONE award each year, so make sure to select the award you resonate with the most.

Can I enter if I am an international student?

Each award category will have its own entry criteria - please check the requirements regarding international clearance.

Does it matter if I am studying unique subjects?

No! We welcome applicants from all subject backgrounds - check the entry criteria for each award to see which align closest to your subjects.

Will I only benefit from the awards if I win?

As soon as you start your application you'll begin to gain valuable experience. From practicing online tests, to experiencing assessment centres, you'll be a winner regardless of the outcome. Many of our award partners have opportunities available for all finalists, not just the winner.

Is there a fee to enter?

Nope! Entry is 100% free for all students - just bring your passion and story.
