We're searching Irish universities to find the Undergraduate of the Year celebrating Sustainability.

Are you committed to sustainability and protecting our natural resources with a drive for improvement, cutting edge innovation and operational excellence? Are you someone who values your roots, cares for your environment and wants to be a leader in their field? Then we want to hear from you.

At Lakeland Dairies, we welcome passionate, ambitious and motivated individuals who strive for excellence every day. Those that are willing to embrace new opportunities and can bring innovative thinking and fresh perspective to our teams.

To enter, you must:

Be a penultimate or final year undergraduate student, in any discipline, from any university

Be on track to attain a 2:1, level 8 degree

Have the right to work in the EU after graduation.

What could you win?

You could win a place on the Lakeland Dairies Graduate Programme! Not only this, but you will also be given a tour of one of the Lakeland Dairies manufacturing sites, and have a one-to-one with a Head of Function within the business.

4 runners-up will be fast tracked to the final round of the Graduate Programme selection process.

Receive an email inviting you to complete three assessments designed exclusively by our partner SHL.

Your details & online assessments must be submitted and completed by the 2nd of February 2026.

If you are successful in getting through to the next stage, you will hear from us by the 18th of February 2026.

Assessment centre

The top shortlisted candidates will be reviewed by Lakeland Dairies.

The process to determine the award winner may involve a virtual or face-to-face interview.

This will be confirmed by the sponsor at a later date.

‍

Grand final

The final shortlist of ten students will be invited to the awards ceremony on the 1st of April 2026, at the Aviva Stadium where the award winners will be announced.
