What makes an award winner?

Our Sustainable Excellence Undergraduate should be passionate about sustainability and strive for excellence as the norm. A natural curiosity, combined with a drive for improvement, high standards and operational excellence will make this individual stand out from the crowd.

To enter you need to be:

Self-motivated, passionate and ambitious

Willing to embrace new opportunities and challenges

Be an undergraduate student, in any discipline, from any university

Be in your penultimate or final year of university

Be on track to attain a 2:1, level 8 degree

Have the right to work in the EU after graduation.

Complete the application form and answer two questions set out by Lakeland Dairies.

Receive an email inviting you to complete three assessments designed exclusively by our partner SHL.

Your details & online assessments must be submitted and completed by the 2nd of February 2026.

If you are successful in getting through to the next stage, you will hear from us by the 18th of February 2026.

Assessment centre

The top shortlisted candidates will be reviewed by Lakeland Dairies.

The process to determine the award winner may involve a virtual or face-to-face interview.

This will be confirmed by the sponsor at a later date.

‍

Grand final

The final shortlist of ten students will be invited to the awards ceremony on the 1st of April 2026, at the Aviva Stadium where the award winners will be announced.
