We're searching Irish colleges and universities to find the Undergraduate of the Year for Engineering. At Jacobs we do things right, we live inclusion, we challenge the accepted and aim higher. We’re looking for undergraduates that exhibit all of these qualities.

What makes an award winner?

At Jacobs we always challenge the accepted and we’ll be looking for curious, creative and innovative minds.

To enter you need to:

  • Be in your penultimate or final year at university
  • Be from an engineering background or studying an engineering degree
  • Have the right to work in the European Union after graduation

Your details & online assessments must be submitted and completed by 23rd February 2024.

If you are successful in getting through to the next stage, you will hear from us by 5 March 2024.

Assessment centre

The top 10 shortlisted candidates will be reviewed by Jacobs.  

The process to determine the award winner may involve a virtual or face-to-face interview.

Grand final

The final shortlist of ten students will be invited to the awards ceremony on 10th April 2024, at the Aviva Stadium where the award winners will be announced.
